 Let’s continue with the celebrations..

So with the stunning flotilla and the glittering Jubilee Concert at the Palace making us all proud to be British, for those of us who would like to continue the festivities for just a little longer, Worthing looks forward to its’ own Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 16th June.

The highlight of the day has to be 5th Worthing Children’s Parade with it’s’ theme of Kings and Queens.  The parade includes children from most of Worthing’s schools, leaving Splash Point at 10am travelling West towards Montague Street and arriving finally at Steyne Gardens, where a charity fair will be there to continue the fun.

After this tables and chairs are set to line Worthing seafront from 2pm with families, businesses, charities and associations all coming together to mark the historic Jubilee occasion in the massive Party on the Promenade and entertainment and competitions will feature as part of the celebrations.

Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June also play host to Worthing Open Houses, spanning 45 venues around the town and showcasing 200 artists.  For more information see www.worthingopenhouses.com.
