Rowing Down the Thames : Oxford to London
13th June 2013

On Friday, 28th June, Team Atlantic Splash will launch Mission Atlantic on the Thames in Oxford, beginning a three day journey down the river towards Tower Bridge, London.

This 125-mile long journey will see the team row their way through the Thames Valley, passing over 30 locks downstream until they reach London, on Sunday 30th in the evening.

On our way to the Capital, we will be rowing through towns and cities such as Oxford, Reading, Windsor and Kingston upon Thames, past some of Britain's greatest landmarks and through places such as Henley, Marlow Eton and Putney, laden with over two hundred years of Great British rowing history. This will also be an opportunity for the crew to get a full-size experience of life on Mission Atlantic, albeit in rather calm, river conditions!

We will complete various stops on our way to London, and we would love to take some time to meet you on your way and tell you more about our challenge and our charities. Whether you are a sports club, an events organizer, a pub-landlord or a company owner, please do not hesitate to request a stop, and we will be delighted to meet you as part of our journey.

To request a stop, please do not hesitate to contact us at the following address: support@rowtheatlantic2013.co.uk
