Southern Business Awards 2011
Friday evening sees the illustrious Southern Business Awards back for its second year, sponsored by Rolls Royce.
Winners from regional business awards across the South are put forward for the grand award ceremony at The Grand, Brighton, which strives to recognise the very best in business achievements throughout the area.
Having won the Lifetime Achievement in Business Award at the 2010 Worthing Business Awards, our very own Peter Bennett (pictured with Jo Ostrom) has been put forward in the same category at this year’s Southern Business Awards.
The prestigious accolade recognises individuals that have “made a major contribution to their business and to the business reputation of the town over more years than they would care to remember”.
As a founding member of Bennett Griffin – one of Worthing’s most reputable and well-established businesses – Peter Bennett has an unrivalled reputation, helping the company’s continued growth over its twenty years of success.
A Councillor on the Worthing Borough Council for twenty-four years, Mayor of the town between 1993 and 1994, Chair of the Connaught Theatre Trust, President of the Worthing Law Society, and a Director of Worthing Homes, Peter’s work outside of Bennett Griffin is equally devoted and inspiring.
