The Rebels continued their fine away form with a 5th consecutive away victory with a 1 – 0 win at Eastbourne Town courtesy of a Scott Kirkwood tap in the 19th minute. In truth the Rebels probably only deserved a draw as Town had more chances than the Rebels and appeared the more likely team to score, especially in the 2nd half.
Rebels made two changes from the team that beat Herne Bay with Steve Metcalf and debutant Jamie Strong replacing Jack Williamson and Josh Bryant. Town managed by ex- Rebels manager Danny Bloor included three ex-Rebels in John Lansdale, Richard Greenfield and Matt Geard.
