Match report from Worthing Football Club
5th November 2012
... Comments

The Rebels made the long trip to Herne Bay on the back of a heavy home defeat in their previous outing, having seen a couple of experienced players leave in the last week and not having played for over 10 days.  Herne Bay on the other hand were unbeaten in 8 games and 5th in the table.

On the day, Rebels were magnificent for 87 minutes and deservedly won 4 – 1 with a performance of superb passing on a difficult wet pitch and great commitment from everyone on the pitch.  Whilst Rebels form at home has been poor, this was a fourth successive away win and arguably their best performance of the season witnessed by about 30 of the reds faithful.
