We have put together a list of the festive pantomimes in Worthing and Sussex for you to enjoy.

 

Cinderella

2nd December – 31st December 2011

Connaught Theatre, Union Place, Worthing, BN11 1LG

Have a ball as glitter and sparkle come to the Connaught in this traditional pantomime for all the family. Watch in awe as Cinderalla is transformed from servant girl to fairytale princess with a twinkling coach pulled by real ponies. Starring Amanda Barrie (Coronation St., Bad Girls) and John Lyons (A Touch of Frost).

 

Peter Pan

8th December 2011 – 1st January 2012

Pavilion Theatre, Worthing, BN11 3PX

Get Hooked and follow your imagination as the Pavilion is transported to Neverland. Witness Wendy's flight from the nursery and watch Peter Pan fight the villainous Captain Hook in a battle to save Neverland. Starring West End and TV star Darren Day as Captain Hook.

 

Jack and the Beanstalk

Leading the cast as Fairy Twinkle is SARAH JANE HONEYWELL from CBeebies, star of TikkaBilla, Higgledy House and Mighty Mites.  Starring along side Sarah Jane as Fleshcreep is CBBC’s children’s presenter CONNOR BYRNE, best known for his role as head care worker in the BAFTA award winning series Tracy Beaker Returns.

 

Peter Pan

9th December – 31st December 2011

Hawth Theatre, Hawth Avenue, Crawley, RH10 6YZ

One of British theatre’s biggest stars, Nigel Havers, sets sail to The Hawth this Christmas as the villainous Captain Hook in this year’s spectacular pantomime Peter Pan. This swashbuckling adventure is brought magically to life with stunning sets, amazing costumes, fabulous flying, and an abundance of comedy.

 

The Wizard of Oz

THE WIZARD OF OZ can boast a fantastic professional cast of actors, singers and dancers and features local juvenile performers as the mischievous munchkins. In her eternal search for the other side of the rainbow, Dorothy, with her loveable dog Toto, finds fun and adventure as she travels with her friends along the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. Come and see if good triumphs over evil as Dorothy and her pals do battle with the dastardly Wicked Witch of the West, and if the Wizard makes all their dreams come true.
