Just launched! Catchbox, the UK's first sustainable local fish box scheme has just arrived in Worthing. Working with local fishermen only, Catchbox supplies the daily catch to subscribed members in town on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
The scheme aims to get more local, fresh fish on to our tables while we learn more about what types of fish are in the sea just outside our front doors.
Hosted by the St Pauls Arts Centre, Catchbox is also supported by Worthing's Fish Factory and the Not So Secret Supper Club, who will offer cooking lessons and "catch of the day" dinners throughout our first season.
Our first season runs from 5th October to the end of November, giving members eight weeks to enjoy some lovely, locally caught fish.
