Music and wit combine in a new concert of greatest moments from the musicals.
Broadway and Beyond combines a new mix of music and wit from some of the most popular musicals from the West End and Broadway when the show visits Worthing Pavilion Theatre on Friday July 13.
The show includes music from productions which have appeared in New York and London’s legendary theatre districts. It features songs from classic musicals such as Oklahoma!, Kiss Me Kate and The Music Man through to more modern musicals like Miss Saigon, The Producers and Spamalot.
The numbers in the show have been taken from musicals of the 1920s to 1960s as well as current Broadway and West End productions, the three actors and a five-piece band will intersperse the songs with humorous anecdotes creating concert versions of the greatest numbers from some of the most memorable stage shows from throughout the years.
Producer and actor Neil Cleary says: “We’ve created a dazzling performance with three all–singing, all-dancing actors, whose vitality and vocal dexterity will amaze our audience. They share the stage with five musicians whose musical agility and expertise allows them to perform more than a dozen instruments between them.”
