Bank Holiday is fast approaching once again and will reach us on the weekend of the 27th August 2011. Sadly this is the last one of the year so make sure you enjoy that last bit of freedom as well as making the most of the summer weather!

We have been busy searching and compiling a list of some great local places to visit as well as events that will be going on around town. If you are organising, or know of any events not included please drop us an email on or call us 01903 890226 with more details and we will include it for you.

Places to visit:

Marlipins displays the history of Shoreham from prehistory to medieval times and looks into agriculture, and domestic life. It really is a beautiful museum with a friendly and welcoming environment, plus gives you a greater understanding of local history.

Brooklands Pleasure Park – Pack up a picnic and pop down to Brooklands Pleasure Park. With pony rides, paddling pools, bouncy castles, boats and more Brooklands is a fun filled day out for all ages. If the sun is shining why not take a trip on the pirate motor boats or just sit and laze about in the lovely surroundings?

Worthing Museum and Art Gallery – The museum is packed with lots to do and see! Known as the ‘historical gem’ of Worthing the collections are extremely diverse from costumes to fine art, toys and dolls. There are plenty events and exhibitions going on throughout the year, for more information click the link below.
