Just a brief hello from me, last week was a little fraught as I wanted to get to know as many of you as I could and of course we had a performance to prepare for too. You all worked really hard you were disciplined and with your exemplary behaviour I am very proud to be your principal.
Meet Our New Additions to the Razz Team...
Jeanette Bowman - Principal
Before joining Razzamataz Theatre Schools in 2011, I had been a professional ballet /tap/modern/dancer/teacher, choreographer. Running a Stageschool as a Principal for 11 years and Head of Global Training for 22 years. Performing on TV in the 70’s in Pantomimes also Directing them, worked summer seasons in Greece, the West End and Spain. I have a daughter Dawn-Evette also a trained professional having travelled almost around the World. Husband Jack is a local business entrepreneur and is always in the background to help me with anything complex and money oriented a mister fix-it!
Dawn-Evette – All round teacher
Trained at BRITS Performing Arts School and Arts Educational schools, Chiswick, London to become a professional dancer, singer and actress. Her first role on leaving Arts Educational was as dance captain in ‘a Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Cazanova Park. She played ‘Carmen’ in ‘Fame’ on a 2 year tour finishing at Wimbledon Theatre.For the past 6 years Dawn-Evette has been working on cruise ships as a singer/dancer. She has played several main leads in their Broadway and West-End numbers. She is a qualified Drama, Dance and Singing Tutor. She is now the Dance and Performing Arts Lecturer at West Thames College teaching BTEC, HND’s and first Diplomas.
Karina Singing teacher
Karina is classically trained with a versatile singing voice from oratorio to jazz and rock. She has sung in choirs since secondary school and is currently a member of Brighton Glee Club. Since living in Brighton, Karina has sung with a variety of choirs, from Brighton Festival Chorus to Brighton Goes Gospel. During her nine years as a Primary school teacher, Karina has led Infant and Junior choirs, taking part in community events such as the East Sussex Big Christmas Sing and the East Sussex Junior Choirs Competition. Karina has developed her vocal coaching skills over the years with the Royal Opera House Education, Sing Up, Glyndebourne Opera Education, Sue Nicholls and Brenda Rattray. She has also been Musical Director for school productions at all ages, from Reception Nativities to Year 5&6 end of year shows. She teaches singing and piano privately.
Arts Award available at Littlehampton Razzamataz
We have an in-house teacher who will assist the students. This award is supporting young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. It is a brilliant opportunity recognized across schools and colleges.

...and a HUGE well done to Bebe Baxter who won our Razzamataz scholarship competition!
Razzamataz were offering 30 scholarships across the UK in association with The Stage. Participants had to display great potential, and communicate the understanding of dedication and commitment alongside the desire to attend classes at the best Performing Arts Schools. There were some brilliant entry’s but Bebe just ticked all the boxes!
She shone with her video entry demonstrating extraordinary musical talent playing the piano, violin and singing a song. Keep up the good work Bebe!
