Boost your Business' Health

Active Sussex have teamed up with Brighton & Hove’s Healthy City Partnership this year to offer companies in Sussex the opportunity to bid for as much as £500 to help get their workforce active.

Applications open for the initiative today, which strives to raise awareness of the benefits of a healthier workforce, which ultimately leads to a healthier business.

Its main aims are:

“To engage with the business community and raise awareness of the benefits of workplace health and provide an advocacy role,”

“To provide a single point of contact for employers in Sussex in relation to workplace health,”

“To increase and enhance the range of physical activity and health opportunities available to employees across Sussex,”

“To create positive behaviour change and increase the number of employees participating in physical activity and to improve the eating habits, stress levels and overall wellbeing of employees in Sussex.”

Businesses and organisations are invited to bid to trial programmes that will boost the wellbeing of their staff, including sports equipment, facility hire, training courses, and wellbeing training.

This funding is ideal to help activate your organisation – all you need to do is apply with a description of how the scheme could help your workplace, and how you would spend the money.

The Active & Healthy Workplace Initiative funding would be ideally used by utilising the expertise of Debbie Stevens Wellbeing Events – award-winning professional events that raise stress awareness in the workplace and improve the wellbeing of your organisation.

The scheme aims to improve the health and wellbeing of employees, and so the introduction of Debbie Stevens Wellbeing Events would suit this perfectly.

Debbie’s Workplace Wellbeing therapies are chosen especially to reduce stress, sickness, maximise energy, and increase staff retention, providing a ‘toolbox’ of life skills to use in their everyday life.

Applications are open until September 30th, so contact Debbie Stevens today to tailor your Workplace Wellbeing package and boost the health of your staff, and your business.
