The Rebels travelled to second placed Walton & Hersham in optimistic mood following last Tuesday’s excellent win at Leatherhead and managed to travel home with another great three points courtesy of first half goals from Scott Tipper and Scott Kirkwood.
In truth, the Rebels were perhaps a bit lucky to get all the points as in the second half the Swans put the Rebels under a great deal of pressure. However, a mixture of great defending, poor finishing and lady luck meant that Walton didn’t score.
