The popular pool and water splash play facilities will be reopened to visitors from Saturday (May 23) after water safety checks were carried out.
The attractions traditionally reopen during the late May Bank Holiday weekend and are available for splashing throughout the summer months before closing again in September.
The council looks after Tettenhall Pool, and over the years it has attracted many visitors from across the city and proven to be extremely popular during the school holidays.
Anyone looking forward to visiting the pool is being encouraged to enjoy the water safely and to be considerate to local residents and other users.
The water splash play at East Park is just one of the attractions at the play area, which was opened in 2023.
Other fun activities include treetop towers, roundabouts, seesaws, wet-pour tunnels, firefighters pole, rockers, springers and bucket and rope swings.
Councillor Qaiser Azeem, cabinet member for resident services at City of Wolverhampton Council, said: “I’m very pleased to say that Tettenhall Pool and East Park splash play will reopen on Saturday ahead of the Spring Bank Holiday – and it looks like there’s some good weather forecast too.
“It is a real asset to have two excellent water play areas in the city and we’ve been working to make sure both of these popular attractions are ready and safe for residents to enjoy. We hope the weather will give plenty of opportunities for children and families to make the most of the water facilities.
“We would encourage visitors to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and to come prepared with hats and sunscreen during warmer weather.
“We also remind everyone to be considerate of nearby residents when visiting, to dispose of litter responsibly, and, if bringing a dog, to keep them under control, on a lead, and out of the water.”
