Premium cinema with loads of leg room and comfy seats. Tickets are reasonably priced, and the staff are nice too. You don't need to go the a big screen to have a great experience. I come here for 9/10 of my cinema visits.

My daughter had her 7th Birthday party at the Lockworks cinema. It was amazing!!! One of the kids even commented they “felt like a VIP” and it was “the best party eveeeeeeer!!”
The team and especially Lisa were amazing. They decorated the Balcony where the kids hung out before and after the movie. They loved the space all the kids made the most of it.
As we had hired out the cinema the kids were especially excited to be the only ones in there and have their own space. Most of them stayed in the comfy seats and enjoyed the movie but some enjoyed having their own space to change seats and move about. At the end of the screening they loved being in the cinema and could probably be heard from town screening and jumping about.
After the party the team had prepared a table for them to enjoy some food and they had some time to play and run about. It was a beautiful space to have the birthday cake.

Sitting in this cinema is experience of its own. The atmosphere is cosy and classy - in large part because of how friendly the staff are.
The seats are comfortable and I like the range of snacks they have for you to take in. Granted I came empty-handed but will return for a film + snacks, just cause!

I have to say, as far as cinemas go, this place is brilliant. Not only is it local, its cheap, ultra comfy, air conditioned with friendly staff. Overall, great experience that the bigger chains could learn from. We will be visiting again.

Simply the best cinema ever!
Came to watch Spider-Man here for the first time and was really impressed with how comfy and clean the seats and sofas were. Prices are really reasonable too. Staff were approachable and professional. It also has really nice decor and atmosphere. What a hidden gem!

Came to this cinema for the first time for Spider-Man brand new day. Seats are very comfortable, essentially they are sofas. Most of them are doubles and there are few single seats. Parking is quite small you’ll have to park across the street. But after 5pm it is £2. Didn’t get time to quite look around but would come here again.

Cheaper and better than any cinema in the area ! Lovely staff, comfy seats, clean facilities. I don't know what else you could want other than a snazzy upstairs bar with a balcony in a picturesque Victorian building, oh wait... They have that too !

Took our son to Lockworks Cinema today. He is 10 years old and has suspected ADHD and possible ASD traits. He was really worried about the noise and he really didn’t want to see the trailers, just the film he wanted to see. The staff at the cinema were absolutely first class, they were really helpful, sympathetic and not in the slightest judgemental. One of the staff members agreed to turn off the tv screens playing trailers in the lobby for a couple of minutes, as this was really freaking him out. They also allowed him to go into the cinema to have a look before we had even paid for our tickets and told us the exact time when the trailers would finish and the film would start. Then a lovely lady at the till asked if he liked Spider-Man, and gave him a Spider-Man badge. Our son had a really great time and his first cinema experience was fantastic, when it could have been a whole lot worse, if it wasn’t for the kindness of all the staff. Huge thanks to everyone.

Visited yesterday. Was greeted and served by a lovely smiling lady named Haley. She was very patient with my ordering of snacks and was so informative about so many things. I came to learn by her about parking in the area and all films are £5 on a Monday all day through our chat. The cinema was exceptionally clean throughout and Haley made me and my 10 year olds son first visit here a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Our daughter was super excited to see Moana but we had to cancel due to a family emergency. Lisa went above and beyond to sort us out - turned a rubbish day around and made sure we'll be back.

Saw The Odyssey today at the Lockworks! Wow, what a beautiful cinema. Great bar/shop, comfy seats and nice staff. Will deffo go here again.

Went today for the first time, and I don’t think we will be going to any other cinemas in the city anymore.
Experience 5/5. Prices are better than the big chains. Pop corns really good price and very nice.
Sofas were very good and comfy.
Didn’t have a drink from the bar this time, but will surely do next time (soon).

Lovely place to watch a film seats are very comfy and staff were great my only qualm is the parking situation you can only park on site after 5pm and there’s very limited parking at that and the closest place to park is £12 for a day as you can only pay for an hour 2 hours or a day which forces you to the day if they fixed the parking and had a membership id go once a week minimum

I love going to this cinema, such comfortable seating, small intimate screen areas, such pleasant friendly staff, what is there not to like? Prices are great too with a good range of refreshments available. A local cinema to support, use it or lose it. It’s a truly amazing venue.
