Autism & Sensory Friendly Screenings

Lockworks Cinema is committed to making cinema enjoyable for everyone through its monthly Autism & Sensory Friendly screenings (held outside school holidays). These relaxed screenings are specially adapted for guests with autism, learning disabilities and sensory sensitivities, as well as their families and carers.

Features include:

• Lower sound levels
• Lights left on low throughout the film
• No trailers or adverts before the screening
• Freedom to move around or take a break whenever needed
• Friendly, welcoming staff
• Audio headsets available on request

These screenings provide a calm and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the magic of the cinema together.

Lockworks Seniors

Older film lovers can also enjoy the popular Lockworks Seniors screenings, held on Tuesday mornings at 11:00am (excluding school holidays and special events).

For just £5, guests aged 60+ receive:

• Admission to the film
• A hot drink
• A biscuit or chocolate bar

These relaxed screenings are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy classic and contemporary films on the big screen, meet new people and spend a sociable morning in comfortable surroundings. Carers are welcome to attend with eligible guests.

Whether you're planning a family outing, catching the latest blockbuster or looking for a more relaxed cinema experience, Lockworks Cinema offers something for everyone this August. Showtimes and special screenings are updated regularly, so it's always worth checking the latest listings before you visit.
