A care home in Chobham is inviting the local community to enjoy a morning of coffee, tea and cakes while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Care UK’s Coxhill Manor, on Station Road, will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September from 11am-12pm.
Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with plenty of activities to get involved in, including a quiz and talk on Macmillan Cancer Support.
There will also be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home's head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.
Sudhir Sijapati, Home Manager at Coxhill Manor, added: “We’re excited to be hosting our own Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for such an important cause.
“Events like this as they’re a great way to bring people together, create new connections and strengthen links within the local community. We're also excited to welcome guests to our cafe, which is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake and great company.
