Chris Evans a Wirral based Paramedic working all over the the North West will be taking part in a 14,000 feet Tandem Skydive to raise funds for the North West Air Ambulance (www.nwaa.net). He will be jumping out of a plane at 14,000ft strapped to another human and a piece of silk??

It all began when Chris was on Twitter and noticed @NWAirAmbulance advertising the opportunity to join them, for a Charity Tandem Skydive on April 26th 2014, so Chris registered for the fundraiser and the countdown began, as did the fundraising.

This great charity have three Air Ambulances working throughout the the whole of the North West, with one soon to be based on the Wirral. The accessibility to this fantastic service can make such a difference to people who need to get specialist treatment in the most critical of times. A land Ambulance would take far longer by road in the more rural areas of the North West region therefore Air Ambulances are crucial in helping to save lives.

Chris has set up a Just Giving page where people can go online and donate as little or as much as they wish, in addition to this you can also donate by way of Text message by sending NWAA71 £5 to 70070, it will be added to your mobile phone bill.

www.justgiving.com/Stato12648 it costs in excess of £4.2 million to keep two of the aircraft in service, so now there are three, you can imagine the rising costs.

Please help and support this fantastic Charity.
