Friday 26th February

  • Workshop: How to use twitter.
  • Bike repairs in Winchester: Bring your bike in for a service, ask for advice (cycling-related!), or just buy a coffee and a bun and have a chat.
  • Swinging at The Cotton Club: Join us as we celebrate the music, dance, and songs of New York City’s famous nightclub of the 1920s and 1930s.
  • A Mayoral Race Night: Join the mayor of Winchester for this Race Night with a ploughmans supper included with the ticket price.
  • Exhibition at Mottisfont – Ponies and Places: A major exhibition from the family archives of Norman Thelwell, whose popular cartoons of plump girls on ponies are joined by many other satires of 20th century life.

Saturday 27th February

  • Hampshire Pride: events take place over a number of days. The big day is February 27th 2016, and is not to be missed! 
  • Story time: Stories and simple activities to introduce parents and pre-school children to a wide range of picture books, and to help develop listening skills.
  • Explorers Trail at Marwell: follow the trail to collect all 6 stamps! 

Sunday 28th February

  • Exhibition at Mottisfont – Ponies and Places: A major exhibition from the family archives of Norman Thelwell, whose popular cartoons of plump girls on ponies are joined by many other satires of 20th century life.
  • Explorers Trail at Marwell: follow the trail to collect all 6 stamps! 
  • Winchester Farmer's Market: Stroll around the huge range of stalls and sample some of the best produce that Hampshire has to offer.
  • Car boot: Cattle Market - a regular car-boot sale running from February to December every Sunday from 7.30am.
  • NOT NOW BERNARD: It sometimes feels as though everyone’s just too busy to listen to little Bernard, but when he finds a big purple monster in the garden things rapidly go from bad to worse. At The Discovery Centre.
Rest of the week
  • Knit and Knatter : come along on Tuesday mornings!

  • Sip + Stitch: for anyone who wants to sip a drink while doing a bit of stitching, and meeting like minded people. 
  • Winchester Tic Walks: weekly free walks are led by volunteer walk leaders with different routes each week to keep the walks interesting and enjoyable.
  • Rhymetime - 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, rhythm to get you and your little one moving + singing!
  • Job Club: Drop-In Sessions at Winchester Discovery Centre on Thursdays.
