Friday 12th February

  • Exhibition at Mottisfont – Ponies and Places: A major exhibition from the family archives of Norman Thelwell, whose popular cartoons of plump girls on ponies are joined by many other satires of 20th century life.

Saturday 13th Februrary

  • Story time: Stories and simple activities to introduce parents and pre-school children to a wide range of picture books, and to help develop listening skills.
  • Spring Gala: The Watercress Line hosts a steam extravaganza with special guest locomotives!

  • Explorers Trail at Marwell: follow the trail to collect all 6 stamps! 

Sunday 14th Februrary

  • Valentine's at River CottageTreat your loved one to a delicious, seasonal and locally sourced 3 course meal.

  • Car boot: Cattle Market - a regular car-boot sale running from Febuary to December every Sunday from 7.30am.

  • Open Gardens: Bramdean - Explore the beautiful 5 acre garden famous for its mirror image herbaceous borders.
Rest of the week
  • Knit and Knatter : come along on Tuesday mornings!
  • Explorers Trail at Marwell: follow the trail to collect all 6 stamps! 
  • Winchester Tic Walks: weekly free walks are led by volunteer walk leaders with different routes each week to keep the walks interesting and enjoyable.
  • Alresford County Market - the highest quality produce; free range eggs, watercress, cakes, preserves and soups. Also, hand knitting and needlework, greeting cards, prints and calendars + toys.
  • Rhymetime - 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, rhythm to get you and your little one moving + singing!
  • Tea at three: Monthly gatherings especially for older people and those on their own, for tea, cake and companionship.
  • Job Club: Drop-In Sessions at Winchester Discovery Centre on Thursdays.
