Patient Feedback Results - Period: June to December 2010
We are proud of our patient care and work hard to make each patient's time with us as pleasant as possible. Our patient survey is an important indicator of how well we achieve this and we monitor the results very closely.
During the period June 1st to December 31st 2010 Parkside Hospital received 444 completed patient feedback questionnaires.
We are pleased to report that 98% of patients responding rated their Overall Quality of Care as satisfactory or better.
On other key issues the patient ratings for the hospital were as follows (all % satisfactory or better):
Overall impression of admission: 99.3%
Management of pain: 98.5%
Overall nursing care: 97.7%
All our staff are dedicated to providing the best possible patient care and patients are particularly appreciative of their efforts. We asked patients whether they were treated with respect and dignity while they were in the hospital and 96.1%told us they were.
Another issue of concern to many patients is the level of privacy received during examination or treatment. This year 98.5% of patients responding said they were given enough privacy.
And finally we are proud to report that 94% of our patients tell us they would recommend Parkside Hospital to their family and friends.
