The Old Courts is an independent venue situated in Wigan, right beside the train and bus stations, halfway between Liverpool and Manchester. Our building houses two music venues, a theatre, an art gallery, a Victorian Courtroom and some ancient prison cells in the cellars. Our upcoming events include Northern Soul Nights, Something New Show (comedy and poetry mashup), Fairport Convention in concert, regular folk nights, art exhibitions, three up-and-coming live bands every Friday, open mic poetry, and loads more.
