Get Ready for FUSE - the free, one day arts festival in Westminster
6th July 2010

FUSE has been described as London’s most ambitious one-day free arts festival designed with and for young people. It is organised by the Royal Parks to enable you to share your creativity, explore new ways of expressing yourself, see what others are doing and share in the excitement.

Thirty-five of London’s most prestigious arts organisations from across the boroughs of Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea will be offering performances, theatre workshops, dance classes, and art classes. These will be held on a number of stages and marquees in Kensington Gardens. It is your opportunity to come along, try something new and get inspired!

To ensure that the day is fun, relevant, and of interest, we have worked with Audiences London and a group of young people from DreamArts in Westminster .  The FUSE youth team will be around on the day interviewing people about what you want to see and do in the Parks in the future – so tell us your ideas.

The Royal Parks are pleased to announce that FUSE has been awarded the 2012 Inspire Mark. This award is only granted to outstanding projects inspired by the London 2012 Games. The Royal Parks are an excellent place to hang out any day of the week but the 25th July will be extra special. So tell your friends and head to Kensington Gardens – see you there!
