Ladies, whatever your age, shape, size or fitness level, Gymophobics can help you see results in weeks instead of months. More than just a gym, Shenaz, Clare and their team of instructors are trained to provide the support and encouragement to help you achieve your goals through a comprehensive programme of exercise and diet. The special Gymophobics resisted-tension workouts are great for toning – all you need is 30 minutes, two to three times a week in order to see results.
Every member gets a mini health check and a personalised programme, which is reviewed and updated regularly. Problems with backs or knees? The air machines enable you to exercise without putting undue pressure on your joints. For those ladies who want more than just exercise, there is also a slimming club called 54321, designed especially for Gymophobics by Sue Norton, a prominent dietician.
Gymophobics, opposite B&Q in Welwyn Garden City, offers a relaxed, non-intimidating environment – there are no men or mirrors, no beefy weight lifters or posers, no loud pumping music or TV’s (so people can talk to one another).
