As an existing customer, despite the COVID-19 problems, Gills were able to send a plumber to carry out some necessary work on 10 June 2020
My wife and I both in 70's were somewhat concerned about the visit, but were relieved at the measures taken by Paul when he arrived face mask and gloves already on.
He did the necessary repair work, and on completion, went back and used sterilising cloths to wipe down ALL surfaces ( including door knobs) which he had touched during his visit, even though wearing his protective gloves during the visit.
Very impressed, clearly a company who cares about there clients.

Gill's sent a plumber to sort out a nasty blocked loo. The plumber arrived very punctual and did a very efficient job . Always pleasant and responsive which is why they are my "go to" plumbers.

Gills provided a fantastic, friendly, high quality service installing our new combi boiler. They worked quickly and did the work to a high standard, and the team were able to work around our unsociable working hours and keep us up to date by phone. They removed the old boiler and water tank for us, and even put in a tidy chipboard cover over the gap this left in our kitchen to stop our cat from getting behind the cupboards! We are very happy with our new boiler which works brilliantly, & when we had a minor issue with pressure in the system later on (our fault!) we were able to contact the person who installed it and get troubleshooting advice the same evening, which immediately solved the problem. Gill's have done excellent work in gutting and refurbishing our en suite. They have been consistently friendly and helpful. Their fitter who did the work was friendly, helpful and a very hard worker. The en suite (shower, toilet, basin, entirely retiled and replumbed) is now a pleasure to use. I can highly recommend Gill's.

I cannot praise this company enough. They are reliable, tidy, fast and priced fairly. I have used them twice in the past 3 months, one a planned visit and the other an emergency and they were excellent both times. Well done Gill's for being local and a breath of fresh air. I will not go anywhere else now and I have referred my friends too (which puts me in for a John Lewis voucher)!!!

We recently had the pleasure of Dan attending our home to sort a leak from our bathroom which was leaking into the apartment below us. We thought the worst but Dan arrived on time at very short notice and was very professional and courteous. He immediately knew the problem and offered to carry out the works immediately. A big thank you again to your team - the whole process from calling for "help", attending site and repairing the problem. Its very comforting to be able to deal with such professionalism.
