France - hear the famous Pavane by Faure
Britain - experience the exciting and tuneful Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold
ending with Rachmaninov's much-loved, melodious, moving and powerful 2nd Symphony, with tunes everyone will know!

Conducting this special programme, celebrating his Presidency, is distinguished British conductor Owain Arwel Hughes CBE, Trinity Orchestra's new President, and long-time resident of Harrow.
Trinity Orchestra consists of professionals, music teachers and very high standard amateur musicians from in and around Harrow, who play 6 high-class concerts annually in the Borough.
Owain Arwel Hughes has conducted and recorded with many of the world's leading orchestras. Among his eminent titles have been Principal Associate Conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London, Associate Conductor of the Philharmonia Orchestra, London, Associate Conductor of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Principal Conductor of Denmark's Aalborg Symphony Orchestra; Principal Guest Conductor of South Africa's Cape Philharmonic Orchestra; and Musical Director of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales and the Welsh Proms.
Ticket holders can join conductor Owain Arwel Hughes for a free pre-concert talk at 7pm to hear about the music being played at 7.30pm.
