Vicarage Road Cemetery was opened in 1858, covers 14 acres of land and opposite Watford Football Stadium.
This cemetery is now full with no new grave spaces available. The only burials taking place are those in common graves (graves without owners) and the Garden of Rest.
Vicarage Road cemetery has no official car park, but there is space for a maximum of two vehicles that can be parked at the cemetery entrance. Parking on nearby roads is limited and within a Controlled Parking Zone.
Open Hours of North Watford Cemetery
January, February, November and December - 9am - 4pm
March and October - 9am - 6pm
April, May and September - 9am - 7pm
June - August - 9am - 8pm
The office is usually open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm (the office will be closed on Monday 26 December, Tuesday 27 December and Monday 2 January).
