It wouldn’t be October half term without some Halloween activities!

Join ‘Professor Pickle’ and ‘Doctor Pumpkin’ for some Spooky Spectacular Science on Wednesday 31 October. A 25 minute live science show full of cool interactive demonstrations and spooky science - running at 11am, 1pm and 2pm. All week enjoy the Museum ‘Black Cat Trail’ where you search around the Museum for the hidden black cats and, with your torch, discover the colour of each cat’s eyes – all for a spooky treat!

Alternatively, for all young detectives out there, follow our Missing Plans Interactive Trail! 'The plans for the Morris Eight have been lost and our junior designer’s future hangs in the balance… Can you help? Follow the trail of clues around the Museum and solve the mystery (available every day except Halloween - Wednesday 31 October). Then round off your visit with some secret agent skills and learn how to draw and write messages using invisible ink.

Plus, on the 28 October, The Large Model Aircraft Show returns to the Museum for its ninth year. This popular Show gives visitors the chance to see over 100 large static radio controlled model aircraft!
