Ready to get creative? The excitement is building for October Half-Term at the British Motor Museum. Visit between 25 October and 2 November to discover a range of fun family activities all week long!
Jump in on The Big Build and help us make LEGO® car models to donate to local community pantries this Christmas. Build your model, snap a photo of your creation, and contribute to an exciting community project, bringing joy to kids who have never had the excitement of owning their own bricks before.
Visit between 28 and 31 October to join the Museum’s resident scientists in the not-so-secret lab for Beep Beep, Boom!, a new science show investigating the not-so-simple topic of rocket science! With the traditionalist Professor Pickle and the experimental Doctor Pumpkin disagreeing on the best way forward, can they settle their differences without completely destroying the Museum?
That’s not all, you can also explore the ‘Driven by your Senses’ Family Trail, taking a deep dive into the world of sound, sight and touch through the Museum. Don’t forget to take a Beep-Beep Family Tour during the weekends, as our expert guides uncover the sounds of our incredible collection of historic British cars. For an extra spooky challenge, take on our Black Cat Trail, back by popular demand! Search around the Museum for the hidden black cats and, with a torch, discover the colour of each cat's eyes!
All this, plus the chance to discover the world’s largest collection of historic British cars across the Museum and Collections Centre. Don’t forget to check out our fascinating new sound-based exhibition “Beep-Beep, Yeah! - The Sounds and Songs of the Motor Car”, too – featuring John Lennon’s iconic white Rolls Royce, a simulator replicating the rumble of a BRM P15 V16, a sit-in Bentley Bentayga with a high-tech sound system, and much more!
All of these activities are included in the price of admission, making it the perfect, value-packed day out for the whole family. Book your visit now and make this October Half-Term one to remember!
