Sadly Warrington Wolves ‘Challenge Cup’ campaign was halted last weekend after Wigan beat them 24 - 44! Widnes Vikings though enjoyed another win after beating Toulouse 16 – 30!! Northern Rail Cup Winners Leigh Centurions secured yet another win in Sunday's Co-operative Championship match against Sheffield Eagles finishing 34 - 22!
St Helens secured their place in the ‘Challenge Cup’ after a comfortable win of 54 – 6 against Hull KR. Both Wigan & St Helens now face each other in the Semi-Final of the ‘Challenge Cup’ at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sat 6th Aug at 3.30pm!
So expect the lads to discuss the games in more detail on Friday's show. They'll also be looking ahead to the weekend's fixtures:-
