A Morning in Lymm and a Morning Well Spent!

Monday morning, business meetings and you could be anywhere couldn't you?

Well luckily for me I was in Lymm, South Warrington and was fortunate enough to spend the morning meeting some great local businesses.

If you know Lymm, you tend to think Lymm Dam, village, family day out when the sun might be shining.

But the village has so much more to offer.

On the high road near to the Dam you have the Church Green. A fantastic gastro restaurant run and owned by celebrity chef Aiden Bryne. A great place to stop by for a drink, a snack, lunch and of course a special night out with friends and family for a superb meal and experience.

Drop into the village and on the Brow there is a fantastic sweet shop called, wait for it...The Sweet Shop, but what a great experience and some superb old and forgotten favourites.

You will pass along the way elegant boutique shops such as The Naked Mannequin, Catyas Gifts, Puure and the ever popular Xross Interiors.

The Spread Eagle is a great, traditional pub with loads of entertainment to keep you coming back for more. On the bridge there's also the ever popular Golden Fleece for a pint or two overlooking the canal.

Flowers? No problem..Karl Welsh is bursting with everything you could want and more.

Hair and beauty options are plentiful and they don't forget about the men either! Sweeney Todd's is a great barbers with a great team to look after you.

The number of estate and letting agents remind you just how popular the village remains and the team at Edgerton Estates were a joy to meet.

My colleague and I finally grabbed some lunch at Cafe Salar. Quiet and the usual? No chance! Busy, great atmosphere, very good service and most importantly the food was great.

Listen..enough about what I saw, experienced, met and ate.

A day out to shop, drink, eat, meet or just stroll? I couldn't recommend Lymm Village highly enough.

Come rain or shine...!
