Both my sons now attend Sakura Grappling, and it’s honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made. My eldest is gaining confidence and skill since joining, and now my youngest is absolutely loving it too.
The team of instructors and coaches are fantastic — professional, patient, and genuinely dedicated to helping each child improve. They make every session engaging, and the way they teach really helps the techniques sink in. You can see how much the kids progress week by week.
The gym itself is spotless and spacious, which makes a huge difference. They’re open seven days a week, and the flexibility to attend any day really helps with busy schedules. The app is user-friendly too, which is an added bonus when booking sessions.
On top of that, the atmosphere is welcoming — not just for the kids but for parents too. I’ve met some genuinely lovely families there, and it’s great hearing how everyone’s children are progressing.
Sakura Grappling isn’t just a club, it’s a community — and I’m really glad my boys are part of it.

I’ve really enjoyed my time doing Jiu-Jitsu here. The lessons are well-structured, the people are welcoming, and there’s no negative energy at all — everyone helps each other get better. The beginners course has really boosted my confidence and made me feel more comfortable learning new techniques. A great place to train and improve without any pressure.

My 5 year old has attended classes at Sakura since March, her confidence has grown massively. She’s gone from the kid who was too shy to say hello, to the kid who never stops interacting with others. She loves her coaches at Sakura, and after trying a couple of the other local clubs beforehand, can definitely say Sakura is the best out there 🙌🏻

We’ve been with Sakura for 3.5 years now. Back when it was under the Gracie barra umbrella. It’s gone from strength to strength under coach David’s care and my boys have made significant progress over the years. I love that they are not only encouraged to be strong on the mat but also polite, careful and resilient!

Highly recommend! My son has been attending kids classes at Sakura since March, the change in him is amazing! He has grown in strength massively, built resilience and genuinely is a nicer kid to be around. Coaches are great and are always there to support the kids.
