We have visited the New Ivy House previously and always had an excellent experience, however I felt we were short changed on Christmas Eve which was disappointing.
We'd arranged months prior and sent out our orders, yet despite this it felt a little disorganised. Starters didn't come out altogether and so when it came to our mains, for some it seemed rushed and for others it seemed ages.
I understand it was Christmas Eve, undoubtedly the busiest time of year but it was disappointing as it felt like there was no time to enjoy the atmosphere or the purpose of our family meal, time together. It felt like the aim was to turn over the tables as quick as possible.
The food was great and staff were friendly but it just wasn't the experience We'd have hoped for,more a quick dinner than a meal. Alot of food was wasted because there wasn't time to digest the starters.

Phil was great when I was tattooed by him! I had a small tweet to the font and he changed it for me. It didn’t take him long at all, under 10 minutes to do my tattoo. This is it a few years later. No ink has bled, no problems. Perfect! Thanks!

Had a fair few tats from Phil and peace’s of his art he knows his stuff from the moment you contact him he is professional welcoming and over all really good chap and his art speaks for its self he captured my two perfectly down to the very last detail and means even more to me now I’ve lost my little girl he genuinely cares about you and his work he is happy to make any adjustments and add anything and always ensures you leave understanding after care so you get the best out of your service

Could not fault Phil at all! Asked for a drawing of our family dog for my mum for her birthday and it did not disappoint! Such a beautiful drawing, Phil was very kind and asked a lot of questions regarding the end result to make it feel a lot more personal. 10/10 one of the best around today and looking at his page, his tattoos look amazing too!

Didn’t use Phil for tattoo work (although his work is fantastic) but for a pet portrait of my grandparents cat. Phil is extremely talented with this type of work, creating magic from just a handful of pictures that make a thoughtful gift for whoever receives it. Phil has also been commissioned for a painting of my own two cats which was excellent plus I recommended him to my friend for a dog portrait. Quick turnaround and reasonably priced, 100% recommend.
