Had a lovely evening with my family. The food was very good and the service was quick.<br>It's a lovely set up and I like the atmosphere. Live piano sessions makes it very memorable.<br>Thank you to Hamza for rebooking my reservation due to family commitments. The staff were very friendly to my children and Jason even gave my daughter his notepad and pen to doodle!<br>We had a full 4 courses and finished the evening with masala chai which is a must.<br>Thank you everyone.

Lacked je ne sais quoi as it was a special birthday felt disappointed with the service the staff do what they are paid for serve food, No communication skills no people skills.<br>The ladies facilitates one very dirty both with no toilet paper had to bring it to staff members attention.🙄

I read the mixed reviews and was not sure whether to visit. Ignore the negative reviews and take with a pinch of salt, not sure what people expect. Excellent recent visit to this restaurant. Food is excellent, very tasty food and just the right amount. Service is also very good, ambience is also very nice. The price is fine, I would say on par with Dishoom in terms of price, but Five Rivers is more upmarket and classy. The only downsides were being charged for poppadoms which should be complimentary (regardless of restaurant) and lack of parking onsite, but car park is 2 mins away and free after 6 (Mountrath Steet car park, WS1 3LY). Apart from that an excellent place to visit for special occasions.
