I thought it was expensive and glass of Coke was £2,99 food expensive also had to pay extra for the dips if you want them with poppadoms for a meal for one korma rice and naan and. Coke it was £20.80 for one person food ok nothing special I wouldn't return at them prices

The food is nice but the prices are unbelievable so expensive - we went for a meal and the restaurant area was closed on Saturday at 5 pm very strange and was told by bar lady the area is closed because it's quite - saving money on electricity its seems. The owner needs to look at the prices and realise the surrounding area there's plenty other place cheaper. Also, one bar lady walks around and is arrogant she makes out its her businesses. Remember, we customers are paying the wages lower the price on food.

I have been using The Vine for at least 20 years. I never went anywhere else for Indian food. It was always consistently good, I was never disappointed and I have taken groups of clients / Friends there on many occasions.
Lately the drink prices have gone through the roof and the serving bowls for curry dishes have reduced in size and prices have increased as well. The place used to be very busy, but on recent visits it appears not so busy. The Vine was the 1st Curry Pub in the area, but there are many places now offering the same style of food. Some I hate to say are better than The Vine now. Tinkering with the portion sizes and using different prawns etc at these prices is penny pinching in my books and they need to get back on track and start offering a great value curry for the right money. It really upsets me having to write this review, I feel I am betraying my old faithful go to curry pub!!!

Great food, great service … a hidden gem!
If you didn’t know it was there you’d likely miss it; Visited for food having been recommended the pub/restaurant.
Clean, spacious and great service, we enjoyed drinks and a fantastic Indian meal.
Highly recommended if you’re in the area !

Absolutely fantastic! Super friendly staff (thanks for looking after us, Chloe). Great section of beers, and an awesome lunchtime menu. We’ll be back to try the full one!

Went before a match for the first time in a few years and was pretty excited. On the menu said they catered to allergies. Ordered our food and put which meals we needed to be coeliac friendly. To shortly be followed by a worker coming over saying nothing but we can’t do that all our curried have gluten in them so we asked about other things on the menu but apparently everything on the menu wasn’t gluten free due to the garam masala having flour in. When pushed more on the fact there wasn’t anything they could do she said she could get the allergy algorithm if I really wanted but everything seemed like an inconvenience to her so didn’t bother. I have been coeliac for 10 years and curries have always been the safest food out there for me and never an issue. However my partner did have his food and did say it was really nice and tasty and piping hot which is good and the atmosphere was just as good as I remember it.

Great choices of very tasty “curry” - not just your usual selection found elsewhere. Decent portion sizes. Not our first visit and hopefully not our last - we try to get here when off to watch a match at the Hawthorns
