Although I live in the north of Scotland I have been to the Vine a few times when passing through West Bromwich. From the outside it looks like a typical town pub but what a surprise awaits when you go through the front door. This treasure of a pub boasts a superb Indian menu as well as a specialist grill area. The wide range of curry is authentic and about as good as it gets. The bar carries real ales, a wide range of keg beers and lagers, including Cobra to "wash down" the curry. It is a very friendly place and the staff are most welcoming. I have only ever been in early evening at the weekend but it has always been busy. It is not difficult to see why The Vine is so popular with young and old alike. It is somewhere which is now THE place to eat when I am in the area.

Depsite Marley's repeated attempts at the great escape from the hydro pool, he did swim today and actually enjoyed his first mixed therapy session! An old boy with arthritis and nerve pain, the session with Saffy was a pleasure to see... Happy, sleepy dog and happy owner...
