Purchased an electric cooker from here and the experience was great, couldn't make up my mind and Terence was very helpful, showed other models after the model I enquired about was sold out. Wayne who fitted the cooker was great, very friendly and installed it quick and showed me how to use it. Definitely recommend buying from them, great price and service! (Ignore the smudges on the cooker, that was me, it arrived in immaculate condition).

I had been shopping around looking for a new fridge freezer when my son recommended l look at Voltage Appliances. From the minute l got there I felt my custom was really appreciated. Remember old fashioned customer service well that's what you get. Everyone polite friendly and helpful but no pressure selling which made me feel l wanted to give them my business. When a large kitchen appliance needs to be replaced, it's a hit to anyone's pocket.
Everyone has a budget, especially nowadays, even if you are in full-time employment.
I was involved in the "white goods" supply/service industry for about 20 years (going wayyyyy back to the good old days of Comet) and I have always been a firm proponent for the sale of ex-display and graded appliances.
Not only because it's "greener" but because it makes appliance ownership more affordable. In the real world, it's of no consequence if a washing machine has a few dents (most of us have them under worktops with other appliances either side or in utility rooms etc). Same with fridges etc, a few dents and scratches can be covered with pictures your kids have drawn and the like. They still work. The important thing is, they really don't MATTER. Putting food on the table or paying the mortgage is more important than worrying about a dink on your tumble-dryer.
I had already been to several other places but I found what I was looking for (and what I could afford) at Voltage. My graded washing machine is in place and so quiet (compared to my old one) that I have to check it's actually operating, even on a 1400 spin.
This is why outlets such as Voltage are so important and I'm glad I was told about them by a neighbour (word of mouth and all that). Everyone there is genuinely helpful and friendly (just normal people like you and me) and they have loads of stock.
But I really think that they should adopt this as their slogan :-
Talk to Terence
He's a thoroughly decent and reasonable chap. He won't spout loads of guff to sell you a dream, he'll listen to what you want and sell you what you need and can afford.
Simple as that.
