I booked to have afternoon tea here, with my parents, and it was a great experience. The cafe is full of nostalgia, that bought back lovely memories for my parents. The afternoon tea was a variety of sandwiches and cakes on a 3 tiered cake stand - , that were delicious and you had a choice of tea bags or leaves, all in a tea pot, with china cups. They even catered for me, by doing a dairy free, afternoon tea. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place, especially the afternoon tea.
