This year Walsall Maker Fest will be held on saturday 13th September across Walsall Town centre 11am - 5pm. It is a free event celebrating the best of Walsall.
Willenhall writer, Jodie Vaughan, will be volunteering and can`t wait. "I have just started out with creative writing and poetry and can’t wait to see where the journey takes me" said Jodie.
She’s a creative soul who loves art and design, and is known for being friendly, approachable, and always up for a chat. Jodie has worked with the brilliant Trevor Latham from Willenhall CIC for voluntery work and also helped the Willenhall Wombles do the last big clean of Willenhall town.
"My passion for creative writing comes from my love of books" said Jodie. "The fave book to date I have read is "Mum Can You Lend Us Twenty Quid? " by Elizabeth Burton Phillips .
Jodie also likes reading epic high novels like Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit . Jodie has plans too work with tal in the future too display her art at his next Community Day
"I want to also like to thank Ian for the opportunity to opening a new world of creative writing for me" said Jodie. "Let's smash it!"
