When is the 2016 Grand National?

It is almost time for Britain's annual day out at the races. This year's Grand National is being held at Aintree on Saturday, April 9th.

What time does it start?

Later than usual this year, the race has been moved back by an hour from its usual time in an effort to allow more punters to watch it live. The start time this year is 5.15pm.

What TV channel will be showing the race?

The race will be shown live on Channel 4, with coverage fronted by Clare Balding. Radio coverage will also be on BBC Five Live.
