Walsh Funerals & Memorials is honoured to sponsor Little Lights, a newly formed bereavement support group dedicated to helping families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby or child.
Based in Walsall, Little Lights offers a safe, welcoming space where parents, siblings, and extended family members can find understanding, share their experiences, and receive emotional support during the most difficult of times.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Rainer Derry of Walsh Funerals & Memorials said: “We see first-hand the pain and isolation that comes with losing a child. Little Lights provides an invaluable lifeline for families by offering a place of compassion, listening, and hope. We are honoured to stand alongside them in this vital work.”
Founded by Jess and Katie, who have both personally experienced the heartbreak of losing a little one, Little Lights is built on empathy and understanding. The group plans to host regular meetings, events, and practical workshops, as well as offer signposting to further resources.
Walsh Funerals & Memorials’ sponsorship will help cover venue costs, materials, and outreach, ensuring the group remains accessible to all who need it. This partnership forms part of Walsh Funerals & Memorials’ ongoing commitment to supporting bereaved families, including through its Little Angels Campaign. Launched during Baby Loss Awareness Week, Little Angels provides free memorial headstones to families who have lost a baby or young child but cannot afford a lasting tribute — ensuring every child is remembered and every family has a place to reflect.
