There will be a speak-out to ‘Stand Up for the Planet’ at 2:30pm, Saturday 30th October in Gallery Square, Walsall, WS2 8LG.
There will also be performances, along with Walsall's Halloween Zombies warning us of the walking dead on a dead planet.
We are living in dangerous times and seeing unprecedented floods and fires across our planet as well as dramatically rising sea levels.
Ursula Walker said “There is a huge risk that the Glasgow COP26 climate conference will not step up and deliver the measures that are critical to sustaining the planet we depend on”.
This event offers people in Walsall the chance to join the demand that the COP26 climate talks take the necessary urgent action required to keep the rise in global temperature below the 1.5°C rise which is crucial to prevent a climate catastrophe. It is hosted by Walsall Climate Coalition and supported by Walsall Trades Union Council.
