A great, friendly, spoken word open mic evening at Brownhills Community Centre in The Lamp theatre space. Open to all, whether you come to see the performances or to join in. Local writers and poets especially welcome.

This month’s feature artist, Heather Wastie is an extraordinary Black Country poet and performer with an array of talent threaded through with local history projects from carpets to canals, and with dazzling musical virtuosity skipping lightly between folk and opera. Always popular and always with style and humour.
