Walsall Society of Artists are celebrating their 70th Anniversary this year and have recently held an exhibition at Weston Park Granary Gallery which has proved so successful that the Gallery have invited us back to hold another one in the future.
On 7th September there will be an exhibition of art works produced in and around Walsall at St Martin’s church, Daffodil Road Walsall. (Opposite The Longhorn public house on the Sutton Rd) It will run from 10am until 4pm. Some of the works will be for sale and Entrance is free.
At the end of the year we will be holding our Annual Exhibition at The New Art Gallery Walsall. This will run from 21st November until the 5th of January. There will be paintings, drawings and other artworks including ceramics, sculpture and 3d works. This has proved very popular over the years with visitors coming from all over the country.
The society meets for demonstrations at St Martin’s church on the second Thursday of the month at 7 30 pm, everyone is welcome to attend. It is £3 for visitors and free for members.
Annual membership costs £20 and runs from January until December.
