Ryan Kenny (pictured with Billy Spakemon at Black Country Radio) is a poet from Walsall, and he's also the organiser and host of Voices Poetry, who operates the premier poetry night in Walsall, Voices from the Fountain.
Ryan is a three time finalist at poetry slams around the country, has been published in a number of global anthologies and charity collections, and recently added to his charity work by raising over £650 for Cancer Research UK by completing the Winter Run in London.
Using a combination of words and actions, Ryan believes that positive change in the world can be made by one man, as long as he uses his words and actions to start a revolution of positivity and the actions are followed and repeated by others, making his small good deed snowball into global goodness.
However, he also knows that he can't take himself or life too seriously all the time, so he owns the fact and often tries to incorporate humour and comedy into his poetry and loves nothing more than hearing a room full of laughter.
The poems he`s going to perform are the Cancer Research poem and Woodchuck.
