Walsall Council has provided £17,000 in financial support, made available through Central Government’s Household Support Fund, to help a local community meal project that provides free, nutritious dinners
This half-term break, families in Walsall are being encouraged to check their children are up to date with their MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccinations, and to catch up on flu vaccinations if they have not already.
The first phase of work on Walsall’s ‘Connected Gateway’ project has completed. The ground floor of the Saddlers Centre, known as Bradford Mall, has been given a makeover as part of the scheme that will create a better arrival experience into the town.
