Walsall Leisure and Walsall’s Best Start in Life Family Hubs are collaborating to bring new sessions for families which focus on health and wellbeing such as baby massages, postnatal Pilates and swim sessions specifically set up for dads.

“ The new sessions will give families more opportunities to enjoy free activities where they can bond with little ones, plus benefit from sessions designed to improve their health and wellbeing too.

“This collaboration extends our Family Hubs offer across the borough, one that is welcome to all families, to help give them the best possible start in life.

“The Family Hubs website is the go-to place for the full schedule of what’s on, and where, as there really is plenty to get involved with. “

Councillor Mark Statham, Portfolio Holder for Children, Families & Education
Walsall Council

The collaboration will include themed events such as Halloween and Christmas celebrations, as well as targeted activities like baby roadshows, Mental Health Week, and Breastfeeding Week.

In the first term of this closer collaborative working, exciting activities include:

Calling new mums! Reconnect with your body and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. The class includes a free Baby Sensory Class at 11am!

Just 4 Dads Wednesday Waves (Swim & Chat)
