Walsall went into a 2-0 lead against Brentford at the Banks's Stadium only to see this lead vanish thanks to two late goals from our visitors in the last four minutes. On reflection it was a fair scoreline but so disappointing. Walsall were unlucky not to take the lead after 20 mnutes as Flo Cuvelier had a shot tipped onto the bar by the keeper.However Walsall were in front on 28 mins when Jamie Patterson shot from eight yards. Barely a minute later Walsall found themselves 2-0 thanks to a goal from George Bowerman.

The second half saw Brentford do really well but it wasn't till the 86th minute that Bees pulled one back when David Grof punched the ball to Jon Douglas who made no mistake. When they pulled a goal back in 90th minute through Donaldson. A hard pill to swallow.
