A kind contribution from Top Marques Insurance has helped many adolescents in Walsall have a fantastic fishing trip with Acorn's Children Hospice.
Top Marques recently subsidised a fishing trip organised by Acorn's Childrens Hospice and helped it become a brilliant success with many young people thoroughly enjoying the trip.
Nazmeen, an Adolescent worker for Acorns Children's Hospice, stated that:
'Shan (from Top Marques Insurance) came to say hello in the morning and met one of our young people too, I’m glad he did. He was great at involving one of our young people in taking a picture of the staff with the minibus. As a result of the trip we now have a young person who is considering not getting the new playstation and getting a rod for fishing, how amazing is that? 2 of the young people attending didn’t want to leave the fishing area for the whole day – not even for lunch. The fishing itself was extremely therapeutic for the young people, giving them time to reflect – on school life, on things they would like to achieve while at acorns and on friendships. It was exactly what we hoped to achieve for the day'
