The New Year is here so stop putting off that plastering and decorating work and get it sorted this month!

Filling in the cracks can make a big difference to the appearance of your home, whether you are looking to sell or simply re-decorating for a new look.

Local plasterer and decorator in Walsall, DKP Plastering, recommends the following tips if you are looking to plaster a wall:

-Ensure flooring is covered as it can be dirty work
-Ensure the wall is sealed first using PVA
-Ensure big holes are filled first
-Ensure room is well ventilated (open windows/doors) as if plaster dries too quickly, it can crack
-Always add 2 coats as this will provide a better finish and 1 coat will crack over time
- Get it done right the first time! Take the hassle and strain out of plastering and decorating by using a recommended tradesman such as DKP Plastering! It's more affordable than you think!

DKP Plastering are currently offering FREE decorating work with all plastering work (Labour only. Terms and conditions apply).
