Three top tips using baking soda and vinegar to clean carpet and wood floor
1. Wood Floor- very often we get the black marks on the floor from the high hill or trainee shoes. Is so annoying and try to remove it… is so easy!
You don't even know it...
Just using baking soda. Mix about 2 tablespoons of baking soda with warm water to make a smooth paste but not runny. Using a soft cloth, scrub with the paste to remove the scuff marks. Then wipe the area with a clean damp cloth and wipe dry.
2. Carpet- Unclean carpet is driving me mad, the vacuum is not enough to refresh the look of the carpet so I’m using the baking soda.
First vacuum the carpet, then spread the baking soda around and leave it for a few hours. The longer you let the baking soda sit on the carpet, the better it will neutralize odors. After several hours, vacuum up the baking soda and your carpet will be odor and chemical free. Now spray with any of your favorite carpet re-freshener to get the final result
3. Carpet- bad stain on the carpet after the party?? – use the baking soda and vinegar!!! Use pure white vinegar over the stain to soak and sprinkle a small amount of baking soda over the vinegar. Allow the stain to bubble as it lifts the stain and let it air dry for a few hours. Vacuum the baking soda and repeat the process if the stain was not fully lifted. If the baking soda gets caked on, you can scrub it gently with a brush before vacuuming.
